the colours of the plumage are sober and has these influence of wood from the trees or probably shrubbery where the bird stay during the light hours. It have to be difficult to take this picture of wild life, just because the photographer needs luck, and you got it. the right place and the right moment. Thats what i talking about. Now,... there is a different between big animals, or well know animals, and the rest of animals that people usually know about, ?? obviously not, all of then are living creature and everyone of these animals has its own beauty. I dont want to botter you but you know the name of the bird the common name or the cientify name.. all i know is that is important to teache people because not everybody has the oportunity to learn, and wild life photos is a big opportunity to teache people.
I love how you can see each little feather on the pelt. The orange head really sticks out and looks wonderful. The crumbs on the beak is a cute detail I haven't seen on most photos of little birds. It looks like there is a slight reflection or sine on the beak, and the eyes are nice and clear. This photo captures every aspect of the bird, shows the balance of it on the wood it stands on, and individualizes it from the scene around it. The detail throughout the picture is fantastic, and your skill in taking is awesome! Great job.
This pic is wonderful I do feel that the colors blend just a little. Perhaps you can darken the background so the little bird can pop just a bit more. But it is still eye catching.
