Here goes my critique to this deviation. In this sense, I have to say that I like the definition of the photo and the contrast generated between the bird and the rest of the image. This contrast highlights the central part of the pick, which is the animal itself, so you your attention goes directly to the bird, something good in my opinion.

At the same time, the animal is not situated in the central part of the composition, and this thing "breaks" with typical images of animals, leaving an empty space that makes the photography different of others. Finally, the color is a good one because you have the feeling that there's nature behind the animal even when you don't see the nature itself because of the focus of the camera. Good work.
